I am so sad about this tragic and senseless loss of one of the greatest female vocalists of all time Drugs KILL and I hope and PRAY that anyone struggling with addiction will reach out and GET HELP! There is HOPE and it is possible to STOP….there is no doubt, this is proof once again, that without help, people die. And SHAME on doctors who prescribe medication to addicts, as they are no better than a crack dealer on the street corner.

Beautifully said Linda! I’m 28 and I’ve followed Whitney since I was a little girl. She was a gorgeous, vibrant woman and a true inspiration. One of the most powerful voices ever! It was sad to see her life take a turn for the worst. I don’t know the details of her death, but if she was suffering, I’m glad she’s at peace. She was way too young. This has a major impact on so many people. RIP angel.
