Rodney Atkins has been cleared in a domestic assault case. Back in November, Rodney was arrested and charged after his wife told police he attacked her and tried to suffocate her with a pillow after a night of drinking. Charges were dropped and expunged from his record, so long that he stays out of trouble for 11 months and 29 days.
The Tennessean reported that Rodney voluntarily underwent court ordered anger management, alcohol and drug use assessments. He has also agreed to perform 30 hours of community service.
Rodney told the paper that he is “so thankful for all those that chose to withhold judgment while keeping my family and I in their prayers,” adding ”God Bless. Onward and upward.“
