If fans love it as much as they did her former sitcom, Reba, ABC may have a huge hit on their hands when [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Reba McEntire[/lastfm] returns with a new show titled Malibu Country! Reba has a lot invested in this new project, as the writer and star of the show too!

The Hollywood Reporter (via the Huffington Post), is reporting that ABC has ordered Malibu Country, a sitcom pilot written by and starring Reba to start with a few initial episodes, and if the show is picked up for a full season, it will follow Reba as a woman who moves herself and her children away from her cheating husband and their Nashville home to Malibu, where she looks to revive her singing career.

According to a spokesperson for Reba who told Country Aircheck:

“They’ve shot a few episodes for the pilot that will air and test. If it goes well, the show will tape additional episodes for the season.”
