Steamy Duo Steel Magnolia On The “Edge Of Goodbye?”

[photogallerylink id=92487 align=right]It’s been a roller coaster ride for [mp3com-artist]Steel Magnolia[/mp3com-artist] these past few weeks since Joshua Scott Jones entered rehab and Meghan Linsey has had to uphold duties of the duo during the entire process. Rumors are swirling around the possibility of a Steel Magnolia split when the duo cancelled a Greenville, TN tour date scheduled for March.

It’s been nearly 3 years since the duo won CMT’s Can You Duet and while the engaged couple seemed to have been picking up steam, The Boot just reported they were dropped from Big Machine Records, as confirmed from a label rep.

Their March 24 date in Greenville started the rumors when Darrell Bryan, Executive Director of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center released a statement.

“It is our understanding that the duo is no longer performing together. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our patrons.”

Here’s a photo montage video of the duo – with an appropriately themed song: “Edge of Goodbye”
