I am always so inspired by young kids like Hope Drogmiller of Novi, who is a young adult making a difference in our world by selflessly helping others! At 12 years of age, Hope is one of Michigan’s youngest writer’s, who has her own column “Hope’s Heroes” in Women’s Lifestyle Magazine, which promotes various charity events in the Metro Detroit area! Are you doing your part to ‘make a difference‘ too?
There are so many things that you and your kids can do to help others and ‘make a difference’ in our community! Volunteering is the easiest way to help your favorite charity, and most charities are ALWAYS looking for volunteers!
Need idea’s? How about delivering “Meals On Wheels’ to home-bound seniors in the Metro Detroit area! Another great way to involve the whole family, is to volunteer to pass out meals at a local homeless shelter.
Most charities have annual fundraising events that you can get involved in, and the easiest way to find out what they are, is to “Google” the name of your favorite charity and check out their website!
Kids like Hope Drogmiller, are GREAT at finding ways to help others on their own….so here’s your chance to brag about your child too! What great and charitable things have your kids done?
