Jason Isbel has a song called “In a Razor Town.” He says Dierks turned it into the chart-topping, “Home.” Isbell has been ranting about it on Twitter, calling Dierks a dirty name and refusing to back down. Dierks went back at him saying that Nashville songwriters have plenty of ideas before stooping to stealing Jason’s. Have a listen and decide:

“Home”
“Razor Town”
By Sunday, Jason was refusing to talk any more about it. He said he “officially can’t talk about it right now.” That smells like legal action one way or another. Stay tuned.

  1. Whoah, they sound really similar.

  2. Nicole says:

The only thing that sounds similar is the background music which may have been a coincidence.

  3. Carol says:

They do sound similar but so do a lot of other songs. I think that the only way Isabel has a true beef is if Dierks or whoever actually wrote “Home” heard “Razor Town” before they wrote it and can it actually be proven.
