Kid Rock Leaves A Piece Of His ‘Big Heart’ In Nashville

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kid Rock [/lastfm]left a piece of his ‘big heart’ in Nashville over the Thanksgiving weekend, and I’m not talking about Kid Rock’s 18-year-old son Bobby Jr., who is a freshman at Belmont University this year either! Kid Rock performed at a sold out show at the Ryman Auditorium on Thanksgiving Eve and donated ALL the proceeds to local charities! The thing I love best about Kid, is he does this kind of charitable giving, almost all the time ‘behind the scenes‘ and  in almost every city he visits![photogallerylink id=101493 align=right]

After Kid Rock left the show at the Ryman, where he donated all the money to Gilda’s Club (to help those dealing with cancer), Best Buddies (a charity for kids) and the Nashville Rescue Mission (which provides shelter and food to the homeless, he went across the street and did an impromptu performance of “All Summer Long” for the 51st birthday celebration at the famous Nashville watering hole, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge!
