Hard to imagine having a “long-term boyfriend” at [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lauren Alaina[/lastfm]‘s age, but she and this guy have been best friends since she was 10. Apparently, no more.

Sources say she and her boyfriend broke up over the phone, this week. She was in North Carolina for a guitar pull with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jack Ingram[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Steve Holy[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Josh Thompson[/lastfm]. She reportedly left the arena early claiming to be sick, but sources say she might have wanted to just be alone.

Of course, this won’t help all those rumors about her and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Scotty McCreery[/lastfm].

I was at the Guitar Pool in NC. She said that her and her boyfriend broke up. And by the sound of it, it seemed like he ended it. She introduced a song that she had wrote about him and said “This is the only song I wrote on my album. And the guy I wrote this song about, he and I broke up today. Yeah.” But she still did a rocking show, even though the people there were being extremely rude.
