5. “Ghost In The House” by Alison Krauss + Union Station:

“I’m all that’s left of two hearts on fire that once burned out of control. You took my body and soul. I’m just a ghost in this house.”

4. “Digging Up Bones” by Randy Travis:

While this isn’t really a scary song, he does sing about “digging up bones”, even though the “bones” are memories of love, the title reminds me of Halloween.

3. “Midnight In Montgomery” by Alan Jackson:

This song is about meeting up with the ghost of Hank Williams at midnight in Alabama.

2. “The Legend Of Wooley Swamp” by Charlie Daniels:

This song is pretty close to a Halloween-themed country song as they come. It is about a man who used to bury jars of money, and he was killed, but 50 years later, if you go back to where he was killed you can hear men screaming. Spooky!

1. “Devil Went Down To Georgia” by Charlie Daniels:

Fiddles, devils, you don’t even have to like country to know about this song, and this is the best we could do for Halloween!
