[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Martina McBride[/lastfm] sat down to chat for a few minutes as her “Eleven Across America” whitsle stop train tour is officially under way.

Following an early morning ceremony and departure at Los Angeles’ Union Station, the train is now heading east through the desert. After a morning breakfast, it was time to find out how Martina felt, as the journey begins.

As we met on the upper deck of the lounge car, Martina quickly pointed out that she has never been on a train before, “this is my first time”, before agreeing to the whistle stop tour.

When asked what she looks forward to most from the whistle stop tour performances (which will be happening during select stops) Martina said, “I’m just excited, we get to perform some new material from the new album. I’m just excited to see the fans come out.”

The performances will also be stripped down and done acoustically, so for those who have not heard the ablum yet, it will be a “sneak peek” and for those that have heard it, “a little different”.

When asked to pick a favorite on “Eleven”, which hits stores tomorrow, Martina said it is “hard to pick a favorite”, but did says she does “love “Whatcha Gonna Do”, “You Can Get Your Lovin’ Right Here”, but then decided she could chose and said, “I like ‘em all”.
