Mom Takes Her Son’s Bullying Into Her Own Hands

A mother who confronted two boys who bullied her 10-year-old son has been banned from her son’s Minneapolis school and even her son’s bus stop for the rest of the year. Tanya Sydney said she does not regret taking actions into her own hands to keep her son from being a victim. Find out what this “Mama Bear” did to help stop the bullying…

The day after her son came home and complained that they were being bullied, Tanya went to the bus stop the next day and confronted the bus driver. She then got on the bus and yelled at the two boys that her son said were the bullies.

Maybe she was wrong, but I can certainly understand the frustration a Mom has when their child is upset by being bullied at school. What can and should a parent in this situation do?

How have you handled similar situations that come up in your family?
