The Very Best Of Lady Antebellum’s Webisode Wednesday!


[photogallerylink id=95865 align=left]It is not hard to chronicle the rise of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Antebellum[/lastfm], as most of their career has been documented as a series of videos captured and posted on YouTube that date back to early 2007, when the band was first getting its start as an unsigned tour opener for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Phil Vassar[/lastfm].

A lot has changed since that first video that was posted over 4 years ago.  On the week that Lady Antebellum’s latest album is released, Own The Night, we take a look back at the Top 10 Webisode Wednesday videos, as well as the very first, that was uploaded before “Webisode Wednesday” was born. Lady Antebellum attend a trucker convention in Kentucky and get behind the microphone to see if any of the patrons of the convention have ever heard of Lady Antebellum. Shockingly, the answer was mainly, “no”.

This time, Charles transforms Lee Brice’s hit “Love Like Crazy” to “Biscuits and Gravy.” Or as they say, Lee Brice has been “Lady Hazed!”

#3: Webisode #41 – Jaunuary 28th, 2009:

Lady Antebellum has arrived in Los Angeles to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and have a little fun backstage in the green room before their performance. How can you possibly be so calm and have so much fun when so many people are about to be watching you perform?

#1: FIRST VIDEO ON YOUTUBE – June 12th, 2007:

Hit the road with Lady Antebellum for the first time. Charles is behind the wheel, Hillary is riding shotgun and Dave is in the backseat, as the band get off stage at Joe’s Bar in Chicago after opening for Phil Vassar in a snowy Chicago. The video follows the group as winter leads into their first summer together on the road. Truly a great video to look back on all that they have accomplished to this point in their growing careers.
