FINALLY! Burger King has finally taken the hint that their “King” mascot was creepy! And it looks like after this weekend, they are going to be taking a new turn in their advertisements: actually selling burgers!
According to Yahoo, after years of declining sales due to poor advertising, Burger King is taking a turn and giving their sales pitch the McDonald’s treatment. They are going to focus on just selling their food.
Now that Burger King is under new ownership, a new management and marketing team seems to be in order as well. A rep for Burger King says:
“People want a reason to go back to Burger King … There are no plans to bring the King back anytime soon.”
Seriously, what where they thinking?
