[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm] kicked off his fan club party late Friday evening at the Wild Horse Saloon. It was a packed house as Blake gave fans what they came for, and started off his set by playing “All About Tonight.”
Blake had special guest Laura Bell Bundy take the stage and perform her sultry rendition of “Let’s Get It On.” At one point during the show Blake huddled on stage with fellow band members, then walked to the microphone and told his fans that they weren’t going anywhere until everyone was good and drunk. In a toast to fans, he said, “Man, I love y’all so much. I don’t know if you have been to many of these fan parties before, but I have been known to get drunk. I don’t care if that’s bad. I don’t care if it’s offensive. This is a party. So here’s to y’all, we’re going to play country music for a long time.”
Shelton also mentioned that his new bride Miranda Lambert is from Texas and he being from Oklahoma, he never wants to live in Texas. He then dedicated the next song to Miranda and played “All My Exes Live In Texas.” In honor of being the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry Blake took a shot, then the legendary Mel Tillis took center stage and performed a song for the crowd giving the stage back to Shelton who played his hits well into the night.
