High School Rivalries have been happening for years. Each school always wants to have a competitive edge against one another, especially in sports like football. A recent prank on a rival school may get a few students felony charges!
According to Yahoo and 8NewsNow.com, there was some recent graffiti at Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas. All of the graffiti is pro Bishop Gorman High, which is Palo Verde’s rival football team. There was graffiti all over their main courtyard and their mascot statue was painted blue and orange, which is Bishop Gorman’s team colors!
While they do not have any current suspects, they school district insists they will find who did it, and they will treat this as a criminal case.
“We are expending the resources to make sure that the person or persons are brought to justice so we want to send a message out that this is not acceptable,” said Lt. Ken Young of the Clark County School District Police told 8NewsNow.com. “We are looking at it from the criminal side and that it is destruction of school property so now we are looking at man hours that are used to get the school back to restore it back to its natural state.”
