Some school systems across the country think that the Internet could mean the end of snow days. They are experimenting with ways for students to do lessons online during bad weather, potentially allowing classes to go on during even the worst blizzard — and get kids out on time in the spring. I prayed for ‘snow days’ when I was a kid, day off school, and chance to make money shoveling snow too!

“Virtual snow days” would help ease pressure on school calendars and offer students more time to learn in the winter before taking standardized tests in the spring.

Would you be in favor of “virtual snow days” or do you prefer to let the kids have a day off when they are home?
