Everett Potter always regretted not being able to give his new bride a diamond ring. He was able to finally ‘make it right’ when slipped a diamond ring on his wife Betty’s finger Monday, laying his life’s biggest regret to rest. “Pops” is 97, and Betty is 86. They just renewed their vows in the church where they were married 65 years ago. Their son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even one of Betty’s bridesmaids filled the pews as Pops and Betty declared their love for one another!
It was a while back when the staff at their nursing home had asked Pops if he had any regrets. He said that he had one: the regret of being unable to put a diamond ring on her finger the day they got married. So, the staff decided to take care of that for him.
What is your biggest regret and do you still plan to ‘make it right?’
