[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Josh Kelley[/lastfm] has been part of every aspect of the creative process of his upcoming album, Georgia Clay, set to hit stores March 22.
Not only has he written or co-written every track on the album; Kelley also had his hand in picking the album artwork. He shares, “Unfortunately we had to put my face big on the cover because I was looking on iTunes and I realized that no one is going to know what this cover is unless your face is straight up on the thing.” What Josh really wanted to have on the cover was his truck. He explains, “I had just bought that brand new Ford F-150 and we threw mud all over it to symbolize Georgia clay, but I can’t use it because my head would be the size of a needle.”
When Kelley isn’t writing or throwing mud on his truck, he occasionally goes on Twitter. One of his recent amusing comments: “I started feeling wheezy on the car ride to Syracuse today…I think I might have [Bieber] Fever….does anyone know of a cure?”
