The date for the 53rd Annual Target Fireworks has been set!  The largest and most celebrated annual summer tradition in Detroit and Windsor, is scheduled for June 27, 2011!

The Target Fireworks, which feature more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects, are launched from three barges in the Detroit River and can be seen for miles.

“Target is excited to celebrate summer with Detroit through our sponsorship of this 53-year tradition.” said Target’s Group Director of Stores, Paul Bernard. “Target has a longstanding tradition of supporting our communities and we are proud to help host this event.”
