2011 Academy Of Country Music Nominees!

As previously announced, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Blake Shelton[/lastfm] will join forces with country music star [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Reba[/lastfm] to host the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

This morning reigning ACM Top Female Vocalist Miranda Lambert led with seven nominations, including Top Female Vocalist and her first ever nomination for Entertainer of the Year. It’s good to see The Band Perry rockin so many nominations they are really talented and deserve it. Not to mention my Girl Taylor Swift (She’s not really my girl, But a guy can dream lmao). What can be said about this lady that hasn’t already been said. Siply put she KICKS ASS

Entertainer of the year will go to Brad or Taylor, it’s about tix sales, and entertainment value, and who the crowd wants to come out and see, you compare Taylor to Carrie, and look at the current track record, it’s all about Taylor right now, and she has been outshining Carrie, although carrie may have a better voice overall, It’s like comparing Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera a few years back, BS had the it back then, but everyone knew that CA, had the longer lasting career in the business. I have seen Carrie in concert, and it didn’t get me excited, ya she has great radio songs, like Kenny Chesney, but the only reason Chesney got entertainer of the years a few years back was because of whom he always brought with him in concert. He knew that if he toured by himself he would not sell out shows. Many times the acts before him were more entertaining then he was. The top new solo artists should be “Eric Church” and the Duo should be “Band Perry”

Carrie Underwood had the top country tour and no nominations WOW! She sold out the hollywood bowl of 18,000 and Miranda Lambert couldnt sell out a Casino of 2500 but she gets nominated? Im a fan of Mirandas but that nomination should have easily gone to Carrie, period.
