The [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Zac Brown Band[/lastfm] is not the only country stars to be bringing some country to the NFL. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Sara Evans [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Joe Nichols[/lastfm] are the only reason needed to check out Sunday’s AFC Championship game!
This Sunday, during the AFC Championship game of the New York Jets v. the Pittsburg Steelers, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Sara Evans [/lastfm]will perform the National Anthem. The halftime entertainment will be provided by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Joe Nichols[/lastfm].
This is not the first time Sara will perform during a NFL playoff game, especially in Pittsburg:
“I will always remember singing the anthem in Pittsburgh two years ago for the playoff game. It’s amazing to be there in the middle of all those football fans and all that excitement. I can’t wait!”
Joe Nichols is pretty excited himself:
“I am a sports fanatic, and being able to perform at halftime for the fans of the Steelers and the Jets is such a thrill for me. One of these teams will be going to the Super Bowl. Enough said! So being able to pump the fans up — even more than they already will be — is my goal.”
Remember to tune in at 6:30 P.M. on CBS to check the action!
