It’s no surprise that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Taylor Swift[/lastfm]‘s latest album, Speak Now went triple platinum in less than six weeks, with songs like “Back To December” racing to the top of the charts.

Released in October, Speak Now sold over 1,046,000 copies the first week, for the biggest debut-week sales for an album since 2005, and the biggest debut ever for a country studio album. Every song from Speak Now has charted on the Billboard Hot 100, eleven of them at the same time. Taylor‘s career sales now exceed 19 million albums and 33 million song downloads, and in 2010 she won four GRAMMY awards, including Album of the Year. She has more than 15 million Facebook fans and currently has more than 4.9 million Twitter followers. Taylor started off the New Year with a big win at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, taking home the Favorite Country Artist award.
