[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] recently scored his 20th #1 hit with “The Boys of Fall” and his documentary Boys of Fall debuted on ESPN.
Chesney continues his relationship with ESPN as producer of a one-hour special on Condredge Holloway for their year-long, Year of The Quarterback initiative. The documentary will air February 20 at 8 PM, ET on ESPN. Kenny, who wore Holloway’s jersey number when he played high school football, idolized the University of Tennessee quarterback and was thrilled to produce the documentary. He explains, “Condredge has meant so much to so many and is a very important figure in my life and to the history of College Football. I’m excited, with the help of Shaun Silva, to tell his story, to show his journey, and to help show the world just how influential he was to how the game is played today and how many doors he opened for so many athletes that have followed in his footsteps.” Holloway was the first African-American to start at Quarterback in the Southeastern Conference. His story will be integrated into ESPN’s football studio shows over the year including NFL Countdown, NFL Live, College GameDay and more.
The New Year finds Chesney’s single, “Somewhere With You,” in the Top 5 on the country charts and is the second single from his critically acclaimed Hemingway’s Whiskey album. Kenny is set to begin rehearsals for his “Goin’ Coastal Tour,” which kicks off in March and includes ten stadium shows.
