The search is over. University of Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon announced today the hiring of Brady Hoke as the new Head Coach for the U of M football program. Hoke coached San Diego State from 2009-10 and was coach at Ball State 2003-08.

Hoke has some history at U of M. Hoke spent eight seasons in Ann Arbor, where he mentored the Wolverines defensive line and was also a member Michigan’s national championship staff in 1997.

Hoke will be introduced at a news conference in Ann Arbor on Wednesday.
