Country power couple, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Miranda Lambert[/lastfm], had an amazing 2010. 2010 was a great year all around for many country artists including big events happening with your country music stars including big concert dates, babies and engamements. But one question on my mind is what are their ‘new years resolutions?’
[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Reba McEntire[/lastfm] started this year with a No. 1 with “Consider Me Gone” and ending it with another chart topper with “Turn On The Radio.” She couldn’t ask for much more than that. But what does she look forward to in 2011?
“What I look forward to in 2011 is getting to go out on tour again with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]George Strait[/lastfm] and Lee Ann Womack, spending more time with my buddies out on vacation, my families. I am just really looking forward to the next year.”
[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm] has also had an amazing year. With the big night at the CMA’s this year, being in People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue and being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, it doesn’t compare to what he and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Miranda Lambert [/lastfm]have together:
“My favorite moment, obviously, is Miranda and I getting engaged, because I don’t want to get kicked in the middle later,” Blake jokes to The Boot, adding, “It seriously was. That was a cool moment. There’s been a lot of ups and downs for Miranda and I over the years, and we just stuck it out. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. That moment for she and I both, the time was right and that was something that we’ll never forget.
The boys from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Montgomery Gentry[/lastfm] want to do it right this year as well:
“It’s always you want to lose a little weight. I definitely want to make great music and hang with Troy and have a great time and see all our friends out on the road playing and just have a great time.” His duo partner, Troy Gentry, is on the same page. “Everybody wants to lose a little weight. I want to be a good dad and I want to be a good husband. I want to get out there and win over the hearts of our fans and continue making great music.”
While a lot of people think of celebrating for New Years Eve and day, celebration should happen all year round. But with too much celebration comes hangovers. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lee Brice[/lastfm] has a classic hangover cure:
“Or my favorite actual hangover cure is the process of sleeping in on the couch, watching football, eating Chinese food or something with cheese and meat and bread and fries and ketchup and ranch dressing. [laughs] That’s the cure for me — just sitting around all day letting it pass, relaxing.”
