The talk of the country world has been [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Taylor Swift[/lastfm] and Jake Gyllenhaal becoming a couple.  Many people are happy, and some find it odd because of the age difference.  No matter what you think, you can thank Gwyneth Paltrow for hooking the two up.

Gwyneth Paltrow takes the credit for hooking Taylor up with Jake:

“I’ve just known Jake for a long time and he’s a great guy, and Chris [Martin] has a friendship with Taylor.” “It’s so weird,” she said. “I wonder how people find out these things. It was a while ago, so I don’t know why it would come out today.”
