[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rascal Flatts[/lastfm]’ first album on Big Machine Records, Nothing Like This, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart, selling nearly 165,000 units. With this #1 CD debut, the trio has the distinction of being one of only four acts to have six consecutive studio albums debut in the top spot on the Country Albums chart this decade. Nothing Like This also debuted at #6 on the Top 200 chart and has sold nearly 280,000 digital tracks to date. With the digital age taking over, it’s possible that CDs may be going the way of the cassette tape and eight-track, offering fans only one music option, and that’s digital. The guys hope that never happens, and the CD remains a staple of music buying.

Nothing Like This contains the lead-off single, “Why Wait,” which is currently sitting at #4 on the country charts. The album includes eleven tracks, four of which were co-written by members of Rascal Flatts.
