Chrysler has come up with an interesting idea in car theft protection. If your car is moved while you’re not in it, you’ll get a text message telling you. It also lets you keep tabs on your teen’s driving. If the car goes faster than whatever speed you set, you can get a text message telling you.
The system is set up so you can select how far your car is allowed to go before you receive the text message. And you can set the maximum speed before a text message is triggered. So if you set 80 miles an hour and anyone driving your car exceeds it, you get the message. Apparently no subscription is required but the pricing plan isn’t know yet.
What else would help you in terms of knowing that you children are safe while driving?
