On Monday, September 13th, [lastfm]Keith Urban[/lastfm] showed that he still “puts his pants on like the rest of us” in a live online webchat, where he candidly answered  questions submitted from fans all across the world.

Keith talks about his new single “Put You In A Song” from his upcoming album, Get Closer, in stores November 16th!  Keith tells how he always writes love songs, and Get Closer is most about being a better father, a better husband, and a better friend.

We laughed at his response when asked about whether or not his daughter Sunday Rose recognizes his voice when she hears it on the radio.  “Yea, she recognizes it, (pause) but she also recognizes [lastfm]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] as daddy, and [lastfm]Brad Paisley[/lastfm] as daddy – I’m gonna have to have a chat with them. . .”

Playing the guitar since he was six years old, Keith Urban tells of going to the racetracks with his daddy. He would collect all the ticket stubs he found laying around and then at home, hold a concert in his bedroom for family and friends, and anybody who would come. He would give them the tickets and collect them at the bedroom door before he started playing! Talk about a kid who was destined to sell out performances!
