dierks bentley 385 Just A Phone Call Away
[lastfm]Dierks Bentley[/lastfm] asked [lastfm]Miranda Lambert[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Jamey Johnson[/lastfm] to join him on a track for his upcoming album, Up On The Ridge, which will be in stores on June 8.
The two helped Dierks out by singing on a song called “Bad Angel.”

As Dierks explains, getting Miranda and Jamey to sing on the project was a piece of cake:
Bentley says he “documented the whole thing” on video and apparently Johnson wasn’t very comfortable having the camera in his face. Dierks recalls, “He goes, ‘Yeah, it’s sounding good, but I’d love to do a couple of passes without this damn camera in my face.’ And my cameraman was like, ‘Okay, time to go!’ [He] packed up and walked right out of the room. I think he was a little scared.”

That’s why Jamey Johnson is the man! I love him. He’s so cool and he tells it like it is. He seems so down-to-Earth and I can tell he’s uncomfortable being in the spotlight. “Get this damn camera out of my face.” hahahahah

Even when he makes cameo appearances in music videos, he looks so shy, like he just wants it to be done and over with. It’s so cute. I love him in Miranda’s video, “White Liar”.
In Jesse James skanky, wannabe country video for ” My Cowboy”, the camera flashes over to Jamey and he has a look on his face like “What the fuck am I doing here?” It’s the best.
