Mike Myers hasn’t had a hit in awhile, so he’s going back to what he does best – Austin Powers.
Yup, the Daily Telegraph reports that director Jay Roach has confirmed that Myers is developing a fourth Austin Powers film. “(Mike is) working on ideas for it, people are definitely talking about it and I’m all good for it,” he said. Roach, who directed all three Powers flicks, adds that Myers wants the spy to go “somewhere you haven’t thought of” in the next flick.
Will Ferrell has put the kibosh on a sequel to his 2004 smash Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Although just last year Ferrell said that “odds are good” they’d do another film, it looks like his co-stars, Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell are too busy to commit. “I thought we were doing it,” said Ferrell. “Now I’ve heard it’s going to be too hard to get everyone together.” He went on to add, “We don’t think we can make it as good. It would be really fun to do, so we might just try to make the craziest sequel you’ve ever seen. It could be terrible, but if they’re going to pay us to do it, then why not, right?”
